MONDAY

[quote author=”Bricks 4 Kidz”][tippy title=”Brick Mania“]

This class is designed especially for our beginning builders, offering simple Duplo (R) and basic brick models. The lessons are designed to engage children’s curiosity, expand their general knowledge about interesting topics in the world around them, and improve their fine motor skills. Come build with us as we discover the animals around us, the life-beat within us and the energy.

Bricks 4 Kidz classes provide an extraordinary atmosphere for children, where we learn, we build, we play… with LEGO® Bricks. Programs are built around our proprietary model plans, designed by engineers and architects, with exciting themes such as space, construction, and amusement parks. Our specially designed project kits and theme-based models provide the building blocks for the Bricks 4 Kidz approach to educational play. At Bricks 4 Kidz, we believe that kids learn best through activities that engage their curiosity and creativity.

[quote author=”Hollywood Soccer Acad.”][tippy title=”Soccer Clinic 2“]

In the beginning, children are introduced to the rules of the game, taught how to kick the ball correctly, and they are given exposure to different soccer positions. Through fun, non-competitive games, children are taught how to turn the ball, dribble, shoot, and play simple games. After a few weeks, children are introduced to the fundamentals of the different tactics, such as passing the ball, attack and defense moves, and keeping the ball away from and taking the ball from the opposing team. Children learn to score and prevent goals. Physical endurance and fitness is emphasized while touching the ball. At this age, the focus starts to change from simple games to organized, tactical, competitive games.

Hollywood Soccer Academy believes that roper coaching techniques enhance the soccer IQ of the player and we feel that this is a tremendous step for their development. Each training session is designed to help players achieve their maximum potential through progressive exercises that are age appropriate and individually and developmentally challenging

[quote author=”Super Soccer Stars”][tippy title=”Soccer“]

Super Soccer Stars teaches soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive and educational environment. Through our age-specific curriculum, we use soccer to nurture, build self-confidence and develop teamwork. Low child-to-coach ratios and positive reinforcement ensure that each child improves at his or her own pace while having a blast!

All Super Soccer Stars coaches share two passions: a passion for soccer and a passion for working with children. Within this framework, our coaches bring an eclectic mix of talents and backgrounds: collectively, they are artists, musicians, teachers, students, and more. Many come from the hotbeds of soccer -Brazil, Italy, Argentina-while others come from lands as exotic as…the Upper West Side. Such diversity allows each coach to bring a unique patience, energy, and creative flair to every class.

Throughout the semester, the children will discover different artistic methods such as sculpting, drawing, painting, 3D creation, collage…In the beginning of each class, depending on the project, a presentation and a discussion about an artist will take place. Some projects may take more than one session to complete.

Adrien was born and raised in northern France and moved to Los Angeles 8 years ago. He holds an art degree from the “Beaux Arts de Dunkerque” and has been an avid soccer player for most of his life. He quickly found his place at LILA as a student supervisor, camp counselor, art instructor, and soccer coach.
