Additional Information
Health Policies
LILA will continue to follow the mandates outlined by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and Pasadena Public Health Department. Students must follow current school COVID-19 policies during all activities, both indoors and outdoors.
Class Fees
Regular weekly sessions are $432.00 for the semester. (This reflects the increased number of sessions from 2021-2022; now up to 16 weeks!)
Registration
Registration is available through SchoolCash Online (SCO). Families who are new to LILA should email their campus business manager in advance to request their student number in order to activate their SCO accounts.
Payments and Refunds
Payment information will be collected during registration. During the two weeks of the program students may withdraw or switch from any activity without any penalty. After February 17 there will be no refunds for withdrawals, class switches and discounted/prorated fees for late joiners.
Any programs that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements by Monday, January 30 may be subject to cancellation. Late enrollment is subject to the full registration fee of the semester and not prorated for missed classes, with limited exceptions outlined below.
If a class has reached the maximum number of students, parents have the option of adding their child (ren) to the class waiting list via SCO (You must pay to be added to the waitlist).
If you would like to add the payment to your Smart Tuition/Blackbaud Tuition Management account or you are a LILA employee, please contact Benjamin Nemser, the After-School Activities & Vacation Camps Manager, before registering so the proper payment can be attached.
Music Lessons
**Music Lesson Cancellation and Makeup Policy
- Because our Teaching Artists require multiple lessons a day in order for LILA to reserve their time, students who do not show up to their lesson without giving 24 hours notice will not be eligible for refunds or make-up sessions.
- If the lesson is canceled by the school, a make-up session will be offered the week of June 5, 2023
- If your child must miss a session and gives at least 24 hours advance notice, a make-up session may be scheduled for a different day if the instructor has availability.
Makeup Classes
The week of June 5 – June 9 will be reserved for makeup classes. These classes will take place only in the event an entire class was canceled for the day and are not meant to compensate for individual absences. In the event that more than one class is canceled during the season, a prorated refund will be given only if fewer than 13 sessions are completed.
