Marionnette! raconte-moi une histoire
Mrs. Hanine
PS/PK
3:30pm–4:30pm
Telling stories in French can increase the children’s ability to express themselves in the French language and encourage them to communicate. Using puppets while telling a story in a foreign language, is an excellent tool to encourage and motivate the children to improve language skills, creativity and social awareness.
Mindfulness Yoga
Mrs. Marisa
PS/PK
3:30pm–4:30pm
Mindfulness Yoga will teach children self-awareness, impulse control, patience and compassion for themselves and others. We will start with breath work and learn body awareness in a series of asana poses intending to create a love for practicing yoga. Together we will consciously be bringing attention to our feelings, thoughts and energy in the body and make a connection to its impact on ourselves, our families, friends and communities.
Superstar Spanish
Kallpachay
PS–PK
3:30pm–4:30pm
Our Spanish immersion programs develop an environment in which Spanish is taught naturally, through interactive activities, songs, games, movements and art. Our instructors rely on a heart-centered approach in all their classes and paired up with our full-immersion approach the students can advance their listening, writing, reading and comprehension, and speaking skills. Using our unique curriculum, our instructors will help them advance with a lesson plan that will be tailored to the groups’ needs. Our curriculum allows the students to be creative and motivates them to speak the targeted language while learning other cultures through their traditions, music, food and specific characteristics. All levels are welcome. ¡Todos son Bienvenidos!
Arts and Crafts
Mrs. Hanine
PS–PK
3:30pm–4:30pm
This class is a creative and expressive space where students can develop their artistic skills, learn to problem solve, and build self-confidence.
Capoeira
Mrs. Marisa
PS-PK
3:30pm–4:30pm
Capoeira will teach children a dance / fight art form originating from Brazil that incorporates everyday movements such as walking and squatting into martial arts moves for self-control and self-defense in a non-competitive, playful atmosphere. We will work individually, in pairs and as a group to develop social interaction and build community.

Registration
Registration for after-school activities and classes are available through Active Network. Prior to Registration, please create an Active Network account by clicking here. For tips and tools on how to create an Active Network account, please click here. $0 will be collected during the actual registration process—however, all registrations will require payment in full within the first two weeks of the start date of their class. This allows everyone to try their class once before committing to payment.
If you would like to be put on a payment plan, you must select the option when registering for a class (this will not be an available option once registered—nor can the school add it to your SCO account). Payment installments must be taken on the first of each month. After Friday, February 16 there will be no refunds/credits for withdrawals, class switches, and discounted/prorated fees for late joiners. Please keep in mind that if payment is not received/collected by the deadline students may not participate in the class and run the risk of not being able to register for any upcoming Break Camps and/or 2024 Fall After-school Activities.

Payment information will be collected during registration. During the first two weeks of the program, students may withdraw or switch from any activity without any penalty. All payments should be processed during the second week of after-school activities on Monday, February 11 and before Friday, February 16 via SchoolCash Online (SCO).
