Does your child have a passion for cooking? Are they ready to experience new foods and expand their little palettes? Our students will be engaged while discovering how to prepare delicious international and American dishes safely and skillfully. Our mini chefs will enjoy exploring diverse recipes from Africa, Asia, Europe, and North and South America, while learning food prep tips and tricks they can use throughout their life. During our sessions, your child will play kids’ games from other countries, learn food terms from around the world, and receive simple recipes they can use at home. This course is tailored for younger students and focuses on microwave cooking. Recipes include Italian Lasagna, Ghanaian Fufu Dumplings, Japanese Rice Balls (Onigiri), Mexican Quesadilla and Salsa, American Mug Cake, Chinese Chaofan, and French Fondue

Little Pre takes a holistic approach to running, encouraging each child to become in tune with their body, mind, and teammates. Runners are taught proper stretching, running form, breathing, and training/race strategy. Our emphasis is on encouraging each other and attaining personal growth as a runner. We hope that the kids will gain a foundation in running that they can take with them throughout their lives. Led by experienced instructors, this immersive experience will empower students to unleash their creativity, collaborate with peers, and bring their ideas to life on screen. Students will develop their very own computer games in the process. We will keep developing Scratch key fundamentals coding skills developed in Computer Coding 101. Additionally, students will benefit from developing creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in the process.

Taught by the staff of Money Management 4 Kids, this innovative financial literacy program merges learning and play into a journey of financial discovery and empowerment. Kids learn alongside Moo La, our Cash Cow, as she embarks on the ultimate money adventure! Setting out on the road to prosperity to find financial independence, Moo La and friends face challenges that require critical thinking, patience, and focus as they develop an understanding of needs vs. wants, setting money aside, and long-term financial planning. Together, they discover the concept of “Money Energy” and how to use that energy to identify earning opportunities and maximize earning potential. From accounting for their income and making deposits into the Bank of Moo La, to assessing opportunity costs, goal-setting, and creating a spending plan, this fun-filled adventure combines learning, hands-on activities, and real-world experience, teaching kids essential life skills while making learning about money fun!

Have you ever wanted to start your own business or website? In this class for budding entrepreneurs, that’s exactly what you’ll do! You’ll work with a classmate to come up with a simple company idea, taking it as far as it will go before the class ends. You’ll create a business plan, enlist friends and family, and set up everything you need to be a junior entrepreneur: a first email address, a basic app or website, and a presentation. Ultimately, you’ll share your idea with friends and family, work hard to get a first customer, and present all your progress to the whole class. In this session, Preschoolers will discover what makes an insect an insect, and see live ladybugs released into the air! They’ll get an intro to Sir Isaac Newton and his laws of motion (warning, some ribbon dancing may happen!), practice color mixing AND color separation as they explore the rainbow, and become musicians thanks to the science of music. Mad Science will also train students to be astronauts with a space mission to the moon, and water bottle rockets. Finally, kids must brace themselves for a foggy, bubbly Dry Ice presentation! Join us for this super creative and exciting class as we peek into the world of comics and storyboards, character drawing and scene/background/ landscape illustration! Get ready for a fun-filled dance adventure! In this exciting class, students will dive into the elegance of ballet and the rhythm of tap. The first half of the class focuses on ballet basics—learning positions, playful choreography, and fun tricks. Then, we switch gears to tap, where students will master rhythm exercises, lively steps, and create music with their feet. Perfect for budding dancers, this class builds confidence and skills, all leading up to a fantastic end-of-semester performance!
After-school Activities / Class Fees
Regular weekly sessions are $440.00 for the semester inclusive of SchoolCash Online (SCO) fees. Private 30-minute weekly piano and guitar lessons are $1000.00 for the 15 week semester.

For tips and tools on how to create an Active Network account, please click here. $0 will be collected during the actual registration process—however, all registrations will require payment in full within the first two weeks of the start date of their class. This allows everyone to try their class once before committing to payment.
After Friday, September 27 there will be no refunds/credits for withdrawals, class switches, and discounted/prorated fees for late joiners. Please keep in mind that if payment is not received/collected by the deadline students may not participate in the class and run the risk of not being able to register for any upcoming Break Camps and/or 2024 Fall After-school Activities.
Payments and Refunds
Payment information will be collected during registration. During the first two weeks of the program, students may withdraw or switch from any activity without any penalty.
Late Enrollment
Any late enrollment is subject to the full registration fee for the semester and is not prorated for missed classes. Late enrollment will have the opportunity to select a payment plan. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the After-school Activities and Vacation Camps Manager at afterschool-activities@lilaschool.com.
Makeup Classes
The week of Monday, January 20–Friday, January 24 will be reserved for makeup classes. These classes will take place only in the event an entire class is canceled for the day and are not meant to compensate for individual absences. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the After-school Activities and Vacation Camps Manager at afterschool-activities@lilaschool.com.
Waitlist/Switches and Changes
If a class has reached the maximum number of students, parents have the option of adding their child(ren) to the class waiting list. If you would like to switch or drop a class you must fill out this form. All requests must be made by Friday, September 27.
These lessons are 30-minute one-on-one sessions with instructors from: Our 30-minute private lessons are fun, easy, and convenient because we go to your school campus! We believe that all students should learn at their own pace and our experienced, trained musical teachers, help your aspiring musician learn without struggling with the structures of traditional techniques. Students of all ages and abilities are welcomed, starting as young as kindergarten. We believe that music should be explored and enjoyed by EVERYONE! Lessons are priced at $1,000.00 for the semester. Registration for lessons will open on Wednesday, August 28 at 7:00pm via Active Network on a first come first serve. A minimum of two lessons per slot is required to be confirmed by the vendor. Payment will commence on Wednesday, September 18 and expire on Friday, September 27 via SchoolCash Online (SCO).
