LILA’s Vacation Breaks & Camps programs offer students the chance to learn more about many fields (arts, sports, science, theater) in an exciting, interactive environment all while having fun! Each experience offers unique topics, specialized instructors, a chance to make new friends, and so much more! We offer camps during all school breaks, (except for the Winter Break). Students in grades 1–5 and 6–12 are encouraged to join our exclusive Basketball Camp offered during the October Break (Monday, October 14 – Friday, October 18) at the Los Feliz and Burbank Campuses. Developed in partnership with the Corneille Sport Academy, LILA is excited to continue to offer a week of purposeful activities, structured similarly to a regular school day. This camp is only available for LILA students. Registration will be available via Active Network from September 25 at 7:00pm to Friday, October 4 at 11:59pm. Balances due will be attached to your SchoolCash Online account on or after October 7.

Step right up and join the fun at Circus of the Stars Camp, where K-5th students can dive into a week of thrilling circus-themed adventures! From soaring through the air on silks and mastering the art of acrobatics to perfecting their juggling skills and discovering a world of circus magic, our camp promises an unforgettable experience filled with excitement and creativity. This camp is taught by world-class circus performers and teaching artists and supervised by our familiar LILA Staff. Don’t miss the chance for them to step into the spotlight and shine under our open-air 60′ X90′ big top circus tent! In collaboration with California’s premier surf school, Surf Academy, LILA offers students in grades 6–8 an unforgettable beach experience with Surf Camp! Whether you’re a first-time surfer in a supportive environment, a seasoned pro, or simply looking to relax on the sand, this week will be a blast. Each day includes roundtrip van transportation to Santa Monica Beach, 2.5 hours of instruction with a 5:1 teacher-to-student ratio, and supervision by our CPR and First Aid certified LILA staff. Along with surf class, ampers will have the chance to participate in various beach games like frisbee and volleyball, or just unwind and enjoy the beach. The week will wrap up with a special trip to the Long Beach Aquarium, where students will explore marine life and other fascinating wildlife! Registration will be available via Active Network from September 25 at 7:00pm to Friday, October 4 at 11:59pm. Balances due will be attached to your SchoolCash Online account on or after Monday, October 7.

Our annual Bear Bear Ski Trip is back! LILA will be taking our middle school and high school students up to the snow for 5 days of fun and skiing and/or snowboarding. During the day the students will be taking private group lessons at Big Bear Mountain Resort and will be able to have free time to ski and/or snowboard on their own. Each night the students will participate in fun activities and entertainment, such as bowling, movie night, and other fun surprises.

* Space is only limited to 45 students.
Balance due will be attached to your SCO account. We do offer the option of a 2-3 month payment plan that must be paid in full by February 1st, 2025). Payment installments must be taken the first of each month. In the event of a refund, LILA will retain a $100 fee. The refund amount will therefore be $1300 (including equipment) or $1250 (bring your own equipment). Any 3rd party registration fees are not refundable. Refunds can be requested before February 2 if you wish to remove your child from the ski trip.
Basketball Camp (Grades 2-5 & 6-12) About the Coach: Corneille Akpakoun, known as Coach C., is a former professional French basketball player who competed alongside and against stars like Tony Parker and Boris Diaw. He has since channeled his passion for basketball into coaching, training players aged 6–18. Many of his trainees have gone on to pursue professional careers, while others have applied their skills in various areas of their lives. Led by our Mad Science vendor, Inventor’s Camp invites students to unleash their creativity and problem-solving skills. Using simple materials, principles of physics, and inspiration from great inventors, children will design and build innovative projects. They’ll create model boats, submarines, and airplanes, and even construct working light sticks to take home. Just like the Wright Brothers, kids will be eager to dive into each new day of inventive fun! Our Martial Arts/Arts Camp offers a unique and inspiring experience for children in grades K-5, combining physical activity with creative expression.
