October break camps are back in action for the 2021-2022 school year! Be sure to read all the details below before clicking the big red registration button at the bottom of this page.
Surf Camp for Middle School (6th – 8th grade) Burbank Students
(Monday, October 11 – Friday, October 15)
8:00am-4:00pm
(supervision available until 5:00pm)
$500 includes roundtrip transportation from the Burbank campus
Back by popular demand, LILA is partnering with Southern California’s premier surf school, Surf Academy, to bring you a totally awesome beach experience!
Whether you want to try surfing for your very first time in a judgement-free zone, are a total pro, or even just want to relax on the beach, this will be a week you truly enjoy!
Each day will include roundtrip van transportation from the Burbank campus to Santa Monica Beach and 2.5 hours of instruction with a 5:1 teacher-student ratio along with our LILA (CPR & First Aid Certified) staff members. Following lessons and lunchtime, you will have the option to play a variety of beach games like frisbee, volleyball, etc… Or just chill out!
Also included:
- Surfboard, wetsuit, and rash guard rental
- Camp shirt
- Beach games and activities
- Snacks, water, and juice
Space is limited to 18 students only. There must be a minimum of 8 registrations by Friday, October 1 in order for this program to run. If camp has to be canceled due to low enrollment, refunds will be issued to any registrants.
