Inventor's Camp (K-5th)

Dates: Monday, February 19–Friday, February 23, 2024

Grades: LILA Students only
– Grades K-5th

Time: 9:00am–3:00pm
– Before and after-care available 8:00am–5:00pm at no extra charge
– February Vacation Daycare (PS-PK) will be available at the Los Feliz and Pasadena Campuses

Location: Los Feliz Campus, Pasadena Campus, West Valley Campus

Cost: $480 (includes all fees)

Registration: Registration opens on Friday, January 19 at 7:00pm via SCO.

About

Ran by our Mad Science vendor, students attending Inventor’s Camp will engage their imagination to solve problems and design inventions using simple materials, principles from physics, ideas from great inventors, and most important of all, their minds.

With a little bit of ingenuity, children will design model boats, submarines, and airplanes, and construct working light sticks to take home. Like the Wright Brothers themselves, children will find that they can hardly wait to get up in the morning!

– Monday: Setting Sail
– Tuesday: Airplane Engineer
– Wednesday: Air Rocketry
– Thursday: Technology of the Future
– Friday: Into the Future

Please Note:
*There is a strict no-refund policy (after Friday, February 9). Exceptions will only be made for very extenuating circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
*Inventors Camp is open to students from all LILA elementary campuses.
* A minimum of twelve (12) students from K-2nd and 3rd-5th from each campus is required for the camp to run by Friday, February 2.
*A Payment Plan will not be an option for this camp
*School and Statewide COVID protocols will be followed
